Cabwaylingo offers several scenic trails for hikers. Along these paths, hikers can capture the scenic beauty of the forest and enjoy the many varieties of wildflowers and trees growing in the area. Overhanging rock cliffs can be found along several of these rustic trails.

East Lynn, WV: East Fork Campground

The lake is situated among rolling hills forested with a mix of upland hardwood trees. A variety of wildlife makes its home around East Lynn Lake, including black bears, white-tailed deer, grouse, rabbits, raccoons, squirrels, turkeys and waterfowl.

Harman, WV: Harman Mountain Farm Campground

Located in the Allegheny Mountains of Tucker County, Blackwater Falls State Park is named for the amber waters of Blackwater Falls, a 62-foot cascade tinted by the tannic acid of fallen hemlock and red spruce needles. The falls, the main attraction of Blackwater Falls State Park, are accessible from steps and several viewing platforms that allow visitors to enjoy scenic views year-round. Blackwater Falls, and nearby Elakala Falls, Lindy Point and Pendleton Point Overlook, are some of the most photographed sites in West Virginia. The park offers lodging and many outdoor recreational opportunities.

Panther, WV: Panther Campground

Panther State Forest, located on the border of West Virginia and Kentucky, is the state’s southernmost state forest. The Campground, open from April 1 through October 31, has full hookups available at 64 sites. Fourteen winter sites are available. All have concrete runners and a patio with picnic table. A private bathhouse is in the camping area. Limited RV supplies and souvenirs are available at the office. Laundry facilities are available.
